Antoine Chaaya

Partner / Director

Antoine joined the Workshop in 1987 and became Partner in 1997. He has been a lead architect on a variety of projects including the Kanak Cultural Center in New Caledonia and the Potsdamer Platz in Berlin. He has been Partner in Charge of projects such as The Broad Contemporary Art Museum (BCAM) and The Resnick Pavilion at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Jerome L. Greene Science Center for Mind Brain Behavior and The Lenfest Center for the Arts at the Columbia University Manhattanville Campus.

Antoine studied architecture at the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK), Lebanon, where he earned the Distinguished Alumnus Award. He is an honorary member of the Lebanese Green Buildings Council (LGBC). Antoine has lectured widely including in Europe, Asia, the United States and the Middle East. Antoine was appointed Member of the Board in 2014.
