RPBW has long been an early adopter of digital design tools. Our approach to Building Information Modeling (BIM) follows the same principles that guide our design process: collaboration, craftsmanship, and creative inquiry, always with a focus on the primary goal—building.
With a critical perspective, we develop tools and methods to serve the needs of each project, rather than adapting projects to fit the tools. Digital tools complement model-making and hand-drawing, used in parallel to support the collaborative realization of high-quality buildings.
Since our first BIM-based project in 2008, our dedicated teams in Paris and Genoa have established an industry-leading infrastructure. This ensures consistency in quality across projects, advanced training for architects, and strong collaborations with developers and leading consultants.
These robust in-house capabilities enable effective international collaborations and efficiency, supporting the success of our diverse partnerships and projects from concept to completion.

The Grands Montets project is exemplary of a small but particularly complex project that requires advanced coordination and precision on an extremely chalenging site. The project is composed of three stations housed in volumes that are composed of space frame elements that are pre-fabricated off-site. The model includes tunnels and occupied space that tunnels through the topography ensuring precise volumetric control.
